In occasion of the 87th edition of Pitti Bimbo, Alberta Ferretti presents her first Spring Summer 2019 Junior collection, that will be produced and distributed by Manifatture Daddato.
Alberta Ferretti Junior, designed for girls aged 4 to 14, is a multi-faceted collection that preserves the elegance and softness of the Ferretti DNA by infusing it with the top kids-wear trends.
Alberta Ferretti stated: “In this positive period of intense growth and new projects, the launch of a kidswear line is a new, exciting challenge that will further stimulate my creativity.”
Natural nuances, such as sand, suede, kiwi green, orange and pink, dye the military inspired garments. Patches depicting Sioux tents, galloping horses and multicolored feathers of Native American style enrich trench coats, gabardine shorts, poplin shirts and dresses. Jersey dresses, t-shirts and daywear leggings are designed in geometric prints of colorful, contrasting nuances.
The cotton tricot sweaters are given a unique look with the addition of western inspired fringe, which also detail the pieces in suede. Suede hairclips with pearl fringe, indie print hairbands and small braided crowns gather the young girls’ wind swept hair. Boots, lace up flats and sandals with woven details complete the western inspired looks.
Dark blue denim is featured in flared dresses, high-waisted bermuda shorts, cowgirl shirts and cropped biker jackets. These clothing is adorned with gold degradé satin studs and can be styled with jersey t-shirts and logo sweatshirts.
The more formal attire is decidedly more romantic and feminine, featuring long muslin dresses with trimmings, sleeveless silhouettes in broderie anglaise with scalloped bottom hems or organza silk and tulle dresses embroidered in sequins.
Finally, in perfect Mini-Me style, the iconic Rainbow Week collection is recreated for the younger generation. Shades of yellow, turquoise, pink, purple, royal blue, blue and fuchsia brighten up the collection of denim shorts, nylon bomber jackets, dresses and lace skirts. Seven jersey t-shirts, seven cotton sweaters and seven jersey dresses will be dedicated to each day of the week.
