French consumers can give the “Gift” – and fun designs – with Betty Boop™ and Popeye® smart pre-paid cards from Spirit of Cadeau.
King Features, proprietor of Popeye and the exclusive worldwide licensing agent for Betty Boop™ proprietor Fleischer Studios®, reveals that the two global icons will soon be making gift giving easier for French consumers. New smart pre-paid cards from Spirit of Cadeau will go on sale today via exclusive distribution at Fnac retail outlets and the company’s website at www.spiritofcadeau.com
The new gift cards, which are valid for two years in more than 500 points of sale and 50 websites, may be loaded in increments of 20€ to 250€ and may be used all at once or several times until all of the money is spent.
“Now, with these Betty Boop- and Popeye-themed prepaid cards, French consumers have a fun way to give a cadeau– a gift – coupled with their favorite character design,” said Carla Silva, King Features Vice President/General Manager, Global Head of Licensing.
The deal with Spirit of Cadeau was brokered by Biplano, the King Features licensing agent in France.
