Hailing from Napoli – Italy, the duo Paolo Manna and Simona Scarfogliero have launched their made in Italy clothing line, BLOODYROSKA®, on March 2017 in Los Angeles.
The menswear brand BLOODYROSKA®, whose name is a mix of two famous cocktails, Bloody Mary and Caipiroska, marries the world of the traditional pattern but with a modern hint.
Paolo Manna, a professional bar manager and bartender, comes from a family naturally involved in the clothing industry: his father was a real appreciated Neapolitan haute couture tailor as well as his uncles who owned tailors’ shops making hand-made suits. Simona Scarfogliero worked as fashion buyer in the textile field, experience which enabled her to develop a personal style thanks to an highly creative environment. In 2016 BLOODYROSKA® catched the attention of JOLTY, a professional fashion firm from Milan, led by Paolo Galli and Ambra Zavatta who found the project interesting and started working on it establishing a network of high-level collaborations. Thanks to Jolty managers, by partnering with A ONE PLUS showroom in Los Angeles, BLOODYROSKA® will be part, as emerging brand, of the International fashion trunk show APART from 2017 March 13 to 15, event that will take place during the Los Angeles fashion week. APART represents the debut of the FW17 collection SPEAKEASY.
According to the style of the collection, the photo shooting set was BRUSCO WINE&AUDIO ROOM concept lounge bar that reminds the Speakeasy bars of the Prohibition era. Thanks to Mr Settimio ‘Sette’ Piterà, Brusco bar manager, who wore the clothing line, BLOODYROSKA® aims to offer a versatile menswear line that, starting from the rules of the old Neapolitan tailoring, simplifies the outfits making them easy to be worn.
Starting from 13th March, the collection will be at the showroom A ONE PLUS in Los Angeles. The sales campaign of the brand will begin with the event APART planned during the Los Angeles fashion week: it will allow to be in contact with a very huge number of international buyers, upscale retailers, journalists, photographers and influencers. Communication, image and marketing will be matched with the international business and globalisation of the Made in Italy brand. BLOODYROSKA® will be, of course, launched in Italy starting from April 2017.
